I disagree with letting players redistribute attribute points whenever they please, because that opens up a large window for abuse.

-edit-

though I also disagree with absolutely zero XP reward for pvp, because that keeps our pvp characters from ever earning their refund points, somewhat forcing you to delete and remake :P

-Black and White 2 should not pick a side between being a city sim, RTS or god sim.

any other good examples of modern games blurring the lines between genres?
There is a difference between genre (they dont really exist. devs are to lazy and copy each other, thats why there are "genres". Really good games dont start with "lets make a RPG", they start with "lets make a great game") and singleplayer, multiplayer, and competitive multiplayer.

Stories are just pathetic attempts at drama.
You may not like PS:T, because it's very much story-driven, it's as much a play as a game, and definitely an attempt at drama. IMO it succeeds in becoming a good tragedy, and is about the only game I would consider literature.

You may like GW PVE, its up to you. But GW does not offer the immersive world like other MMOPRGS. It does not offer the social aspect like other MMORPGs (it feels like singleplayer games with coorp).
Oh, I agree. I don't like MMORPGs, I'm not a socializer. I play GW precisely because it feels like a singleplayer rpg with coop.

The PvE is "medicore" at best, compared to Diablo II (much more loot), Gothic, KOTOR, BG II (much better story / world) or Morrowind (player freedom / customisation).
Yes, again I agree - it's mediocre. There's better and there's worse.

PvP is unique, but the devs decided to focus on everything but the "real" pvp. You say that fighting players in the arena or in GvG is pvp. Technically it is. But when "we" (the few remaining complainers) talk about pvp, we speak of pvp metagame with 450 skills and all unlocks. Many games offer the "current" pvp. Only the betas offered GW pvp.
Ah yes. Yeah, it's in my opinion unfortunate that GW doesn't have a level playing field wrt PvP. I've said before that I consider the key to be to separate the PvE completely from the PvP - nothing, no avatars, no items, no skills - ever pass over from one to the other. That's the only way to give PvP a level playing field.
It still isn't my cup of tea, as I prefer the more chaotic and unpredictable combat of FPS style games, but I do understand the complaint wrt unlevel playing field.

Fighting other players with 8 skills that some other players may not have access too due to time constraints =! pvp
Complete agreement.

Ah, so that's what this post is all about, just another cry for that damn "unlock all skills" button even though ArenaNet has said time and time again that it was a beta only feature and will never be implemented in the full game. All I can say is, GIVE IT A REST ALREADY!

some of you need to open a dictionary and look up the actual definition of the term 'Guild'.....and stop using the internet association of the word.
